This national competition was to create additional accommodation for the client Anglo American Corporation within its current campus in the inner city of Johannesburg. The idea proposed for his complex of Heritage buildings, some of the oldest in Johannesburg, was to integrate the urban space by radiating lines from Marshall Square to integrate the spaces back into the city. The conference city was proposed to sit above the tower to create a new landmark.
