The idea was to metaphorically extend the library and create a green precinct that incorporates the heritage of the original John Moffat architectural building. The window module of John Moffat was redefined and stretched over the linear building that accommodated a new auditorium and lecture rooms. The intention was to make the legible the seasonal changes and energy usage of the building.
