The proposal was for a growing local Muslim community, who required a mosque for worship. Tucked between a small retail centre and the residential area, the site was an under-utilised open space that was ideal for knitting the community together. The proposal was to design a community complex within the landscape that will have a park as its foreground for the wider community, with the mosque and madressah flanking a communal space deeper within the site.
